Material Standards
In Mechatronics products, metallic materials are the main ingredients used to fabricate mechanical parts. Examples, Stainless Steel, Steel, bronze and etc.
Metallic materials mechanical properties and its
chemical contents are governed / defined by standards developed by a lot of
countries such as USA, Germany, Japan, Russia and etc. Each standards are NOT
exactly same.
We need to know
differences & equivalent of these major standards when we try to find equivalent material available conveniently in the local market.
